Beautiful 100% translucent rich green Jade with darker green speckles scattered throughout. Shows evidence of having been longer and was apparently broken and salvaged along the line of the original drill hole. Fine old smooth polish over its entirety.A virtually identical example is pictured in Rowson's Book, Chinese Jade , page 17, and is identified as being held in the collection of the British Museum.
